Welcome to Andrea Flello Music !

Thank you for visiting my website!

I hope this will be a resource for you to get to know a little bit about me and  my varied experience in the music industry.

A little bit about me:

ANDREA FLELLO, B.A.

AFFB

I have been a brass player (trumpeter, trombonist and euphonium player) in B.C.’s Greater-Vancouver area for nearly 30 years. I have 25 years of performance experience, 20 years of teaching and coaching experience and over 10 years of ensemble management and promotion background. I perform a varied scope of musical genres including: big band, musical theatre pit orchestras, jazz ensemble, R&B band, wind ensemble, brass chamber ensemble, solo and duet performance.

Music is a secondary occupation for me however, it is the majority of my evening and weekend work; I work a day job as  Post-Secondary Academic Advisor at Kwantlen Polytechnic University but when not at the university, I am likely behind a music stand or in a teaching studio!

I perform regularly with a Big Band, Brass Quintet and with various Pit Orchestras all over the Greater-Vancouver area. Other musical endeavours include private music and clinic instruction at the beginner and intermediate levels in brass performance technique, musicianship, repertoire preparation (for band and festivals) and rudiments of music education. I also have many years of ensemble management, public relations, social media advertising and performance coordination experience.

I welcome new performance, ensemble management and teaching opportunities and as such, invite you to review my resumé (contained herein) to evaluate my experience to validate my suitability for your potential project.

Thank you for considering my services. I look forward to working with you!

“Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything …” – Plato.
